When:
Doors open at 8 am Friday morning,
Doors close 3pm Sunday afternoon.
Lodging: Lodging is located near by, and not included
in the retreat fee. You may stay wherever you like, However we would
like to recommend our “host hotel” Best Western Pea Soup
Andersen’s Inn. Their information is listed on the back of this
sheet along with other lodging options.
IMPORTANT!!! Make hotel reservations
early! Our Valley is a very popular destination
and rooms book quickly especially during peak
seasons.
What to expect: Graze and Sew! Graze and Sew! --
All in your favorite fuzzy slippers!
It’s B.Y.O.P (bring your own project) and EACH QUILTER has their
own 6' table!
Friday night is our Pot Luck so bring your favorite
dish(es) to share.
Saturday night Soup Supper will
be provided by us with all the trimmings.
Breakfasts & lunches are on your own. Feel free to order take-out
or bring whatever suits you.

Keep in mind there are always plenty of leftovers. We'll have bottled
water, coffee, tea and all the utensils.
*Please note… the “kitchenette” has a refrigerator,
small freezer, convection oven, microwave, and sink.
IMPORTANT! If you have special dietary needs, please let us know at
time of registration.
What to Bring? With your confirmation, we will send a suggested packing
list of things previous “Brown Baggers” recommend you not
forget!
Fat or Lean Quarter Exchange: Should you choose to participate, bring
four fat or lean quarters of your choice in an unmarked “Brown
Bag.” We’ll trade them on Saturday night. This is a great
way to build your stash!
Block Exchange: Participation is optional. A pattern and focus fabric
will be mailed to you with your confirmation one month prior to your
Retreat. This year’s pattern is a half-square triangle (HST)
block. We will send SIX 5" charm squares to you with your pattern.
You will provide SIX 5" neutral, tone-on-tone squares. This will
yield 12 blocks. You will keep SIX of the HST blocks and turn in the
other SIX for exchange. After the exchange, you will be the owner of
12 HST scrappy blocks!
Chair Massage: On Saturday, our friend and local masseuse, Joachim
(Joe) Cretin, will be on-hand to lend his talent to our aching backs.
Relaxing chair massages will be available for a small fee. After sewing
all day Friday it’s a nice treat!!
