REGISTRATION RULES to be followed
if Registering ON MAY 1, 2008 for
the 2009 Brown Bag Retreat Dates

Our Brown Bag Retreats have proven to be far more popular than we ever anticipated with nearly all of them having sold-out since we began staging them in 2002.

Unfortunately, with sell-out events comes the disappointment faced by those that are unable to attend. We are very sympathetic and continue to try, as best we can, to schedule more Retreat dates, keep the price as low as possible, find a new venue and modify the way we sell Retreat seats so that everyone has an equal opportunity to register.

This year our search for a larger venue ended when our neighbors within the building moved out. To cut a long story short – we have our own Retreat Center and we are no longer renting space from the local Days Inn hotel (For those of you just joining us – this is a VERY GOOD thing!)

All Brown Bag Retreats are now held in the same building as our store. This has also allowed us to be the "Captains" of our own "Retreat Ship" as well as expand our retail space and we continue to restructure the store, add to our inventory and build new displays!!!

Please understand that although the bullet-point list below may appear staunch and business-like, it’s not our style to throw up barriers. Instead it is an attempt to answer some of your questions in advance and avoid problems that have risen in the past.

2009 Brown Bag Retreat Dates are being announced now, in the month of April to give you time to coordinate with friends and decide which dates you may want to attend.

However, SEATS GO ON SALE May 1, 2008 at 8 a.m. -- NO SOONER!

The first day of Retreat sales is VERY busy for us. We make every effort to register you in a timely manner, in the order that your call, fax or form is received. Please be patient when you contact us on May 1.

We have scheduled NINE Brown Bag Retreats for 2009.

On the morning of Thursday, May 1, 2008 the shop will be open for regular business but not until 10 am. From 8 - 10 am we will only be on-hand to accept registration for the 2009 Brown Bag Retreats. Our sales floor will not be open until 10 am. We will not be selling anything, other than Retreats, until 10 am. Please do not plan to shop for fabric until the store opens.

We will begin accepting complete 2009 Registration forms at 8 a.m. on Thursday , May 1, 2008.

You can register in person, by phone or by fax STARTING AT 8 AM.

DO NOT FAX your Registration form prior to 8 am. If you do, it will NOT be processed.

DO NOT FAX an incomplete form with partial information (name and phone number, name and payment method, etc.) These incomplete, faxed, registration forms WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Our own shop clock will be used to determine the correct time.

DO NOT email your registration information to us – it will not be accepted and we will not respond to these emails.

You may mail your registration payment but POSTMARKS PRIOR to May 1 will NOT be accepted.

We have “Call-Waiting” on our business line but WILL NOT answer an incoming call until we have completed the first call. Please be patient and wait for us to answer the line if you hear it ring.

You must complete a separate Registration form for each date you plan to attend.

If registering for someone other than yourself, you must provide COMPLETE information for each person for whom you are registering.

You cannot purchase a Registration that is to be assigned later. (Some Retreaters in the past knew they wanted to attend with a friend but did not know which friend to invite. So they purchased a seat that they assigned later).

Attendees for all Brown Bag Retreats must be 18 years of age or older -- no exceptions.

Retreat reservations may NOT be sold as a commodity. If you cannot attend, you MUST notify The Creation Station. We will make every effort to fill your vacant space from our waiting list. If we are successful in finding someone to take your space, you will receive a full refund. The earlier you notify us that you need to cancel, the better the chance that we can fill your space.

All Retreats will be held inside our own, onsite, Retreat Center. It is in the same building as our store.

2009 Retreat Registration fee -- $85 per person, per Retreat – lodging NOT included.

A blank REGISTRATION FORM has been posted on our website. Just open it in your web browser and print it on your printer. If any of the above links are not working for you, copy and past the following web address into your browser address window:

If you are unable to retrieve the form, please call us and we’ll mail or fax blank forms to you. We will not fax any forms to you on the morning of May 1.

We will place your name on a waiting-list if the date you request is sold out at the time of your request. For waiting-list purposes, please provide a current phone number or number(s) where you may be reached within 24 hours. There is no charge to be placed on a waiting-list.
