Brenda Szameit, Okanagan Center, British Columbia, Canada "I can't say I loved the fabric but I used all of the 1/2 yard I got and made 2 placemats for the other challenge as well. My patern idea came from Dawn saying the fabric made her think of a picnic. Well, we live on the beach, so beach came to my mind. I remembered I had a pattern somewhere with beachy motifs, so I looked and found it, so I used some of her applique pics but not her pattern layout. I got it off the internet. The pattern is by Jan Burns, called "Endless Summer." |
