These classes are HANDS-ON and HandiQuilter is bringing SIX Amara Longarm Quilting machines to our classroom for this on-site training event and all will be ProStitcher ready.
Please note that we will only be allowing a maximum of 12 students for each class. There will be 2 students per machine.

All attendees must be showing no symptoms of Covid 19 at time of class attendance. Any requirements of Santa Barbara County will be followed (i.e. wearing masks indoors).
We're happy to welcome back Megan Best along with Lori Brothers to teach all of these classes. They are both terrific instructors, bringing fun, energy and knowledge to all of their courses.
Megan has always loved fabrics and made her first quilt while in high school. She continued to foster this love throughout her education, achieving degrees in apparel design and merchandising/textiles. Thousands of quilts later, she still loves to create.
Megan’s career in the fabric industry includes experience in fabric stores, retail management, quilt shop ownership and as a professional longarm quilter. She excels in both computerized and free motion quilting, winning many ribbons at local and national shows. She quilts on both her HQ Forte® and HQ Avanté®, both with Pro-Stitcher®.
Megan’s teaching career includes experience as a college instructor, a quilting teacher for local guilds and retail shops, and an instructor at national and international machine quilting shows as well as master of the ZOOM class.
Megan lives in NW Washington on a mini farm (in the making), has two children, and a very supportive husband.

Class Description: Pro-Stitcher Designer is full featured, vector-based drawing software gives you the ability to quickly design, edit, customize, export and import any quilting motif you can imagine. This class will start with a basic overview of the easy-to-use features. New users will be creating their own digital designs for their next quilting project by the end of this class!
