Mother Hubbard's
Our favorite place to eat in the Santa Ynez Valley. A great old-fashioned diner serving fresh, locally sourced food. Dawn is VERY fond of the Jake & Elwood Burger and Patrick really likes the Telera Sandwich.

Small restaurant but really good Mexican food and low prices. Dawn and Patrick eat here at least twice a week. Especially fond of their dollar tacos on Mon/Tue as well as their enchilada plates.
Rudy's Mexican Food
More great Mexican food but this time even LARGER portions. A single taco will fill up most people so if you order two -- be warned -- you may need to take some home! Tastes great though.
Gino's Pizza
Love their pizzas, sandwiches and homemade marinara sauce. Dawn loves the meatball sub and Patrick usually chooses the salami sub.
Big Bopper Drive-In (Solvang)
Great burgers and tri-tip sandwiches. Dawn usually orders the Solvang Special burger (burger, fries and soda) or a Tri-Tip Sandwich. Lately Patrick has been ordering the California Tri-Tip which includes bell pepper and avocado.

New owners Kim and Cassandra have kept the original recipes and added some new. Great place for muffins, scones, bread, sandwiches and salads. Dawn likes the Chicken Pesto Panini and Patrick loves the new Roast Beef Sandwich on Jalapeno Bread!
La Botte
Charming family restaurant that opened in 2017 and we finally had a chance to try. Our food was delicious and owner Franceska and her son couldn't have been more charming. Definitely try this little "bistro" for yourself!
